About this item
- [No Paper Coffee Filter! ] COFIL is a sustainable ceramic coffee dripper that eliminates the need for disposable paper filters. You do not need to use a paper filter to make drip coffee. This filter is washable and reusable.
- [Aromatic and Flavorful Coffee] COFIL makes use of the porous properties of ceramic to filter coffee naturally through 50 micron (about the same size as a hair) holes. The holes are exquisite size, slightly larger than a paper filter, and barely filters out oils which are umami of the coffee. COFIL enhances the taste and aroma of coffee.
- [Far Infrared Radiation] Made out of porous ceramic that emits far infrared radiation, it helps to change the taste of coffee by removing any harsh or odd flavors, allowing you to enjoy your coffee to the fullest. COFIL can also be used to purify most liquids, including water. It removes particles, contaminants, and the smell of chlorine from water and makes water soft.
- [For Most Liquids] It extracts more flavors from ground coffee, instant coffee, black tea, oolong tea*, herbal tea*, herbal tea*, and green tea*. It can also improve the taste of liquors such as shochu, sake, whisky, and wine. *Do not add whole tea leaves directly.
- [No Worry of Clogging] The lotus leaf is well-known for having a highly water-repellent or superhydrophobic, thus giving the name to the lotus effect. We have succeeded in reproducing the lotus effect and the micropores in COFIL can increase self-cleaning effectiveness and prevent the adhesion of coffee-oil that causes clogging.
- [Easy Maintenance] To clean the filter, remove the used coffee powder and wash to use dish brush (hard plastic) with tap water until the water comes out clean. Clogging may occur as a result of frequent use. If your COFIL brews coffee very slowly, boil it with hot water for 5 to 10 minutes.* *Do not touch the filter until it has completely cooled.
- [Dimensions] Filter:4.37 x 4.37 x 2.91 inches [11.1 x 11.1 x 7.4 cm], Filter server:4.76 x 4.76 x 0.28 inches [12.1 x 12.1 x 0.7 cm], Saucer:3.78 x 3.78 x 1.62 inches [9.6 x 9.6 x 4.1 cm] [Weight] 0.89 lb [0.4Kg] [Materials] Ceramic
