After trying these small, strange looking mushrooms, they could breathe easier at high altitudes and had a lift in physical energy. Today, Cordyceps militaris is used for the same benefits originally discovered by the sherpas, with loads of scientific research to validate the compounds responsible for its energizing effects. Each cup of coffee contains 500mg of Cordyceps.
